Buffalo Adult & Teen Challenge

Our Heart Check funding will support:

• A bathroom remodel in their residential building. The remodel will involve taking out some walls and updating plumbing and fixtures to double the shower and restroom facilities. 20 or so men live at the facility while they transition through recovery and into their new life.

Heath's Story:

“I grew up in the Catholic Church but strayed from my faith at 20, falling into drug use and a sinful lifestyle. After meeting my wife, she gave me an ultimatum—her or the drugs. I chose her, quit using, and returned to the Lord. Together, we built a beautiful family. A year ago, at 46 years old, family tensions and bad decisions led me to backslide into old habits. My wife gave me grace at first but eventually lost trust. She agreed to hold off on divorce if I joined Adult & Teen Challenge. Through surrendering my life to God, I found peace and transformation. God restored my faith, healed my marriage, and brought us closer than ever. Thank you, Jesus!”
