Have you ever said to yourself, "I don't know how to engage with the immigrant community. There are no immigrants in my neighborhood or town."

WELL.... This is the perfect opportunity for you!

Conversational English programs support immigrants by improving their English-speaking skills and building their confidence as they navigate life in Buffalo. Focusing on relationships first, we establish friendships to break down barriers and build trust. Because our approach acknowledges the person in front of us, rather than the teaching curriculum, we can be ourselves and release any pressure to "succeed".

We will break into groups each night that consist of primary English speakers & non primary English speakers to help them engage/practice their everyday English in a safe environment. We will play games, have conversation, and learn more about our immigrant neighbors in South Buffalo.

A full curriculum, teaching resources, and program guide will help us support the unique language needs of our new friends while forming relational connections.

We will be meeting each Thursday in October at the Raha Coffee House at 480 Abbott Rd. in South Buffalo from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
