The Hope and Healing Ministry training series will take place weekly between October 2024 and March 2025. Individuals will learn how to meet one-on-one with care receivers experiencing grief, loss, or other life challenges in a faith-based, supportive, and non-judgmental way. Training will include readings, teachings, and group discussion with fellow trainees as you prepare to be a Hope and Healing Minister!

The Hope and Healing Ministry is a unique opportunity to offer faith-based care and support to individuals in the community experiencing an array of life challenges. With the support of your fellow Hope and Healing Ministers, you can serve God and others through a caring, supportive, and listening relationship with someone in need of healing. If you are someone who listens well, is empathic, or wants to help, this is a great opportunity!

October 3 is the orientation. If you decide to proceed with the training, that starts the following Thursday, October 10, and runs through March 27.
