Serve Night at McKinley Campus Kitchen

We're going to prepare 80+ meals to support local hearthcare residents on Tuesday, July 28!

A focus group of Christian Medical Residents back in 2024 identified that medical residents in Buffalo NY do not have the time and resources for eating healthy food while working long shifts. This food disparity along with a poor work environment makes medical residents feel underappreciated, leading to poor retention rates of trained medical providers. As a result, we have fewer providers staying in WNY leading to gaps in care in our medical sector ranging from clinics (e.g. Jericho Road Community Health Clinic) to hospitals (Buffalo General and ECMC).

By providing meals, we can use this small act of kindness to help medical resident feel seen and cared for by the Church of WNY. We want medical residents in Buffalo to feel loved and cared for as they arrive here
