PATH Inc. (People Against Trafficking Humans) is a faith-led nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking through education, prevention, and restoration efforts. The PATH Enrichment Center is a safe place for lives to be enriched and hope to be restored through therapeutic support services. PATH regularly sends speakers to community events to raise awareness and educate groups on the dangers of trafficking. They also help survivors of trafficking with basic needs, housing, transportation, healing and restoration.
Our Heart Check funding will support:
- Hiring a Well Health Coordinator to manage the health and wellness services provided by the Christian Medical and Dental Association and the UB Jacobs School of Medicine at the PATH Enrichment Center.
- Purchasing 20,000 wristbands with PATH’s phone number discreetly engraved inside. These have proven popular and brought trafficking victims to PATH.
- Church mobilization and outreach efforts
From a PATH client:
“PATH staff and volunteers showed me kindness and helped me feel safe to be vulnerable and share my story. They have given me a reason to live and hope.”
