Steps is dedicated to bringing the Gospel to the Seneca-Babcock neighborhood in the City of Buffalo through both teaching and living out the principles of Jesus. They offer Christ-centered youth mentorship and programs, after-school programs, an essentials pantry, and more.
Our Heart Check funding will support:
- Mobile Evangelism & Outreach: taking a mobile set up featuring food and music to street corners in South Buffalo and local parks during the summer
- The Emergency Benevolence Initiative: a dedicated fund they can access to meet immediate needs like winter boots and warm coats
- The Enhanced Essential Needs Pantry: adding hygiene and cleaning products to their bi-monthly food distribution program
