PATH Inc. (People Against Trafficking Humans) is a faith based not-for-profit organization with a mission to end human trafficking through education, prevention and restoration. The PATH Enrichment Center is a safe place for lives to be enriched and hope to be restored through therapeutic support services. PATH regularly sends speakers to community events to raise awareness and educate groups on the dangers of trafficking. They also help survivors of trafficking with basic needs, housing, transportation, healing and restoration.

Our Heart Check funding will support three key hires:

  • Program Supervisor/Adult Social Worker to supervise staff and manage clinical programs
  • Staff Member for Preventative Education to meet the high demand of schools requesting presentations to their students
  • Part-time Social Worker for Male Victims of Trafficking – This is a pilot program to address this less well-known need. Men are often targeted for labor trafficking.

From the staff at PATH:

"After suffering sexual exploitation, gang involvement, and becoming pregnant, a teen girl came to our facility. She has participated in therapy and tutoring so she can finish her education. She said she “found her safe place at PATH.”
